"A state of balance"

A 14 year, Double-Maturation Single Blended Rum, consisting of both Artisanal Pot and Traditional Twin Column Coffey distilled molasses rums.

Aged first for 10 years in Ex-Bourbon Barrels, then 4 additional years in Ex-Calvados Casks.

All aging, blending and bottling occurring entirely on-site, at Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados.

Bottled at 60% ABV - 120 Proof.

TASTING NOTES

Initial Impressions: Complex and intriguing, dark, compelling layers reveal themselves more and more over time in glass.

Aroma: Chocolate Truffles, Maduro Cigar, Pipe Tobacco & Humidor - there is an earthy and rich element in the nose, balanced by rounded fruits and a bright apricot / orange blossom floral note in the background.

Palate: Rich and expressive but with an underlying bright citrus note - layers of berries, cacao beans, caramelized orange and a hint of nuttiness evolve into subtle spice, leather and a hint of pipe tobacco on the close. Overall bold and complex that lingers on the palate.
