Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, ‘Mr George’ Urquhart, the Connoisseurs Choice range has featured more than 2,000 bottlings from almost 100 Scottish distilleries. Each whisky’s story is told through its label: cask type, bottling date, strength, vintage, and tasting note. These rare single cask and small batch expressions are always non-chill-filtered and crafted by Gordon & MacPhail’s unique expertise in matching spirit to oak casks, passed down through four generations of the same family.
Colour : Lightest gold.
Nose : Sweet pineapple, vanilla, and green apple aromas are joined by delicate jasmine.
Palate : Creamy flavours of pear, lime marmalade, and vanilla custard lead to chilli spice and oak.
Finish : Medium-bodied with a peppery finish.
