The Orkney Islands – the home of Highland Park – were under Viking Rule for over 600 years. The Norse influence on our history and culture is celebrated in this release, exclusive to duty-free outlets.
Created using a higher proportion of our Orkney peated malt than in many of our other whiskies, this smoky and bold single malt Scotch whisky was matured in a combination of first-fill sherry seasoned European oak casks, American oak casks and refill casks to reveal smoky, sweet and spicy flavours of vanilla sponge cake, stem ginger in syrup and apples baked in cinnamon butter, all wrapped up in lavish layers of aromatic Orcadian peat smoke.
