Paying tribute to Italy’s exceptional gastronomic culture, this 26-Year-Old Blended Scotch has been fully finished in Amarone wine casks, a first for Royal Salute. Renowned for its luxurious character, Amarone wine is steeped in Italian heritage and artisanal techniques, making it an ideal partner for Royal Salute’s Scotch. The long finish in these precious casks has given the final blend a distinctively indulgent richness and complexity.
Tasting notes
NOSE
Aromas of rich plums, Seville orange zest, fresh raspberries, cherry tart, chocolate orange with nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger spice.
PALATE
Juicy red apples, dark cherries, homemade apricot jam, wild redcurrants, panettone cake, dark chocolate compote and clove-ginger.
FINISH
Rich and spicy with enduring complexity.
