WHAT MAKES THE TEREMANA TEQUILA REPOSADO SPECIAL?
This luxuriously potent tequila was founded by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. As such, this tequila features all of the potency and character that you would expect from such a bold and charismatic creator.
The producer’s 100% brick-oven roasting allows Teremana to bring out the bright citrus flavours of their highlands agave. This traditional process takes time, and it’s worth every second.
They roast the agaves for 3 days before shredding them to extract the juices for fermentation and use the leftover agave fibres for organic compost for the agave fields.
After the open tank fermenting process, Teremana is then distilled using their handmade copper pot stills. These copper pots are made locally, by an artisan, on the distillery premises. The design of these handmade copper pots takes us back to the days of traditional tequila making and also produces a clean, smooth tequila.
