Adding to the two vast concrete warehouses already in its possession, the Kavalan distillery opened a third warehouse in September 2022, equipped with a special ventilation system that significantly reduces the angels? share. Covering a larger surface area than the first two warehouses combined?each five storeys high?the new warehouse rises to an impressive seven storeys. This remarkably concentrated and powerful bottling repeatedly evokes a great white Burgundy at its peak. Its flavour and aroma palette offers an exceptional and refined expression of abundant fruit, balsamic notes, saffron and magnificent frangipane.

Profile:

Full, refined. Vanilla, spice, fruit. Malted barley, cut hay, honey.

Colour:Topaz.

Nose:

Full and refined. Notes of bourbon vanilla, fine spices (saffron, nutmeg), almond paste and juicy fruits (pear, apple) take hold of the complex initial nose. With aeration, increasingly tropical notes (banana, pineapple), balsamic tones of cedar and pine, and candied fruits (lemon) emerge. The spices form a solid foundation.

Palate:

Noble and invigorating. Beautiful flavours of malt, florals (iris butter) and honey (lime blossom) add nuance to the dense and concentrated flavour profile. Over time, lucerne, chlorophyll and juicy fruits (peach, apricot) bring refreshing lift.

Finish:

Long and full. With a fine, grainy texture (rice powder), the finish is absolutely delicious. Subtly blending vanilla and cocoa, it gradually takes on a more powdered character. Making a triumphant return, numerous spices (ginger, saffron, clove, cinnamon) bring great nobility to the mouth-watering and fruity (grapefruit) retro-nasal finish.
