Drawing its name from the Spanish word used to describe vineyard plots in the Jerez region, Hampden Estate Pagos is the first rum in the distillery’s history to be entirely aged in sherry casks. This new version of Hampden Estate Pagos resulted from a partnership with the renowned Bodegas Fundador in Jerez, centered around the idea of fully aging a Hampden rum in prestigious 500-liter sherry casks. After three years, the oloroso-filled casks were emptied to welcome the intensity of Hampden and relocated to the distillery. Pagos’ flavor, aroma, and color palettes are deeply infused with the unique woody notes of sherry. To enhance this undeniable influence, in perfect synergy with Hampden Estate’s high ester level, Pagos has been bottled at 52%.
