Rara Neagra de Purcari Red Wine 750ml

Rara Neagră is a rare local grape mostly exclusively planted in Moldova and Romania (also known as Băbească Neagră). The only known planting of it outside of Romania/Moldova is in up state New York in the US. Rara Neagră de Purcari is an explosion of grace and elegance embodied in wine, a perfect balance of power and elegance. Made from grapes harvested and selected by hand, produced using traditional methods.

Purcari Estate – Established in 1827 by the special decree of Nicolas I, Emperor of the Russian Empire, Purcari is the most historical and iconic winery of Moldova.

Tasting Notes
The ruby color, with a pomegranate accent is accompanied by a complex aroma with accents of chocolate and plum. The full taste, velvety with hints of dried fruits and vanilla comes smoothly into a fine oak aftertaste.
