Cork Breakage Policy
We regret that a broken cork does not warrant a replacement bottle.
The whisky is a 2003 Edradour, matured for 18 years in a very old refill hogshead which was previously used to mature an old Signatory bottling.
The whisky is funky, fruity, sharp, malty, waxy, mineral and features top notes of pre-war fork lift trucks.
We bottled it at 53% in order to fully express all the left-field deliciousness of modern Edradour distillate.
Nose: Pure, old school, highland style distillate driven malt whisky. Barley eau de vie with lemon water, hay, mineral oils, soot, boot polish, toolboxes and hessian. Superbly charismatic whisky!
Palate: Immediately rich and mouth-filling with big notes of malt extract, barley sugars, olive oil, oatcakes and various beers and cereals. Punchy and complex whisky that is extremely rewarding with patience.
